Yucca

I'm always fascinated by the frosty green color, curly threads, and geometric lines of yucca leaves. They've probably exacted a more painful penalty than any other bush during my trail runs, via their spiny flower spikes, which I always underestimate. It's not a shooting, thorny immediate pain, but a subtle, slowly rising, itchy, "where did I get this scrape?" pain. Here they are showing a more peaceful aspect.
