Wednesday was my first weekday morning run since... well, a long time ago. Unlike family folks and early risers, I don't get up early unless I'm forced out of bed to haul my ass up some tall peak before afternoon lightning storms. But it's getting dark after work, and I'd rather run when I can see stuff.
Fittingly, it was a token distance that was barely sufficient to warm me.
Somehow I am missing two sets of running gloves after summer, not sure where they went. I wore full-finger bike gloves this summer because falling on bare hands sucks, and my thin liner gloves didn't prevent trail rash.
OK, time for bed, because I have to get up early, or at least hit snooze for an hour and a half before work -- and that takes energy.
