Sunday Saunter

Ran a few miles up the neighborhood hill today. I've been taking it easy lately due to some strain from bike riding and the feeling that core and hip muscles were just "not right" and needed a break. I've run about 10 miles this month.

But sometimes compensation for an injury creates problems that obscure the underlying issue, or even persist beyond its healing. And sometimes it's tough to sort things out: one injury from another, mechanical glitches from actual problems. Ah, well.

Bottom line, I think things may be in better shape than I thought, and I just need to watch what I'm doing. Beautiful morning regardless.

  1. Research has shown that one in every runner has an injury. The key is having the right team of massage therapists, osteopaths, chiropractors, and witch doctors to keep you on the trail.

    Be well.
