I tried to squeeze in a ride on a blustery evening, with partial success. I couldn't keep my fingers from going numb and had to circle back, plus I had to finish up the work day. Gotta get those winter gloves before summer.
The hairpins on this trail are kind of brutal; I can't make them all without unclipping. The hillside is also rather steep in some places (not pictured), so the penalty for failure is potentially painful and rock-filled. But riding along in the dark was still fun.
Distance was 4.81 miles, time 53:31 (moving 37:25), elevation gain/loss 640 feet, avg. speed 5.4 mph, and max speed 15.4 mph.
