Sunday Bear Creek Ride

Not much snow in the hills lately, so I bailed on a ski day. I hadn't been on the bike in a while, and I got a new bike stand for maintenance, so I tuned the derailleurs (more or less), cleaned the chain (over linoleum) and headed to the Bear Creek path. A mellow ride under partly sunny skies and through strong winds.

Pushing the bike up a hill along Morrison Road:

These clouds were a sign of things to come:

Storm clouds rolled in, along with wind and rain:

Yet to the east, all was mellow:

Distance was 17.00 miles, time 2:20 (moving 1:50), elevation gain/loss 807 feet, avg. speed 7.2 mph, and max speed 29.5 mph.
