Monday North Table Mtn Run

If Monday was any indication, last week's Rainpocalypse has finally ended, with a very sedate day of sunshine and scattered showers.

It could be my imagination, but it seemed like a larger than usual crowd was at North Table, maybe out of desperation after being cooped up indoors all week. The park itself was open, but trails were closed, there was significant water erosion, mud, and puddles were everywhere. Still, it was a welcome relief.

Distance was 4.89 miles, time 1:21 (moving 51:37), elevation gain/loss 673 feet, avg. pace 16:40 (moving 10:33), and best pace 7:04.

  1. The best sunsets I've ever seen have been above North Table. I lived in Golden and worked in the little industrial park just east of the mesa. Many evenings I would walk out the door and be treated to an incredible sunset. Thanks for sharing.

  2. Nice little slice of the world for sure. Super peaceful up on top, and still not really busy.
