A walk on muddy horse trails, on a nice evening.
There's a hawk that I think I've seen twice now at this park, that is maybe the noisiest hawk ever. It cries continuously, on every tree it lands on, probably scaring away every prey animal within a 100-yard radius. Maybe it's young, inexperienced, and trying to find its place here; it's been on different sides of this large park. I can hear other hawks calling in the distance.
